A young woman, 29 years old, with a search alert in the State of Mexico who went missing on December 12 was located in the Mexico City Metro at the Garibaldi station.
According to a statement, elements of the Auxiliary Police (PA) of the CDMX Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) carried out surveillance work at the Metro station, on Line 8.
The elements noticed that a woman was walking nervous and disoriented in the place, so they immediately protected her and asked for her information, however, the citizen only knew her name, unable to remember her address or the telephone numbers of her relatives.
The uniformed officers requested medical services and after an assessment by STC Industrial Security elements, they diagnosed her with stable signs of possible intellectual disability.
The police action protocol was carried out, so the woman was transferred to the facilities of the Special Investigation Prosecutor’s Office, where the Public Ministry agent found out that he had a search alert in the municipality from Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico.
Therefore, in coordination with police officers from the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl, the transfer of the relatives who arrived at the place was channeled and after corroborating the relationship and in the presence of the agent of the Public Ministry, she was delivered to relatives.
