In addition to its beaches and natural landscapes, Guerrero is known for having an endless variety of bars and nightclubs for all tastes and ages that operate until dawn; However, before the arrival of the red traffic light to the entity, the state authorities determined to close bars and clubs as of Monday, August 9.
This announcement was made known at a press conference headed by Governor Héctor Astudillo, and the Secretaries of Health, Carlos de la Peña, and the Secretary of Tourism, Ernesto Rodríguez Escalona. In addition, as in 2020, it was reported that there will be a reduction in road traffic at night, from 11:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Likewise, social events such as weddings, congresses, activities in pantheons, whether in open or closed spaces, will not be allowed.
However, it was reiterated that the beaches of all the tourist destinations in Guerrero will remain open, but only from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and with a capacity of 40%.
